Jack Skahan scored in the second half to help San Jose earn a 1-1 draw with Nashville SC, ending a second four-match losing streak of the season for the Earthquakes. Skahan scored the equalizer for San Jose (1-8-1) in the 63rd minute when he used an assist from Rodrigues to score his first goal of the season and the third of his career. Nashville (1-3-5) grabbed a 1-0 lead in the 19th minute after Hany Mukhtar took a pass from Alex Muyl and drilled a right-footed shot from outside the box to the bottom left corner of the net. It was Mukhtar's second goal and Muyl's first assist of the season. The two clubs have played to a draw in four all-time matchups.

Lionel Messi scored two goals to excite a New England Revolution-record crowd, leading Inter Miami CF to a 4-1 victory on Saturday night. Messi didn't disappoint the crowd of 65,612 that filled Gillette Stadium, scoring on a left-footed kick from deep inside the box for his ninth goal of the season, breaking a 1-all tie in the 68th minute. The attendance beat the previous record of 61,316, when the Revolution lost to the LA Galaxy in the 2002 MLS final.
Musa, Ibeagha score in second half to lead Dallas over Dynamo 2-0

Petar Musa and defender Sebastien Ibeagha scored second-half goals after Houston was forced to play a man down five minutes into the match and Dallas beat the Dynamo 2-0. Dallas (2-5-2) had the man advantage after midfielder Griffin Dorsey was tagged with a red card for Houston (4-4-1). Still, it took until the 55th minute for Dallas to grab the lead. Musa used an assist from defender Emmanuel Twumasi to score his third goal of the season and second in as many weeks. Twumasi's assist was his first of the season. Dallas added an insurance goal when Ibeagha found the net in the 80th minute.
Michael Boxall and Tani Oluwaseyi score goals; Minnesota beats Sporting KC 2-1

Michael Boxall and Tani Oluwaseyi each scored a goal to help Minnesota United beat Sporting Kansas City 2-1 and end a five-game losing streak in the series. Boxall scored on a volley off a header by Robin Lod to give Minnesota 1-0 lead in the second minute. Joseph Rosales played a low cross right in front of the net to Oluwaseyi at the back post, where he tapped in a goal from point-plank range to make it 2-0 in the 25th minute. Alan Pulido ran onto a cross played by Dániel Sallói at the top of the penalty area, took a dribble and bounced a side-footed into the net from near the spot for Sporting in the 38th.
Montreal's Sirois, Crew's Schulte unyielding in scoreless draw

Jonathan Sirois had four saves for CF Montreal and Patrick Schulte stopped two shots for the Columbus Crew in a scoreless draw. Columbus (3-1-6) upped its unbeaten run at home to 27 matches in all competitions and has played to five straight draws in league action. The Crew lead Montreal (3-3-3) in the series 13-9-6 with a 10-3-3 record at home. It was the second clean sheet of the season for Schulte and Sirois, who notched the only save of the first half.
Lewis Morgan's goal helps Red Bulls play Whitecaps to 1-1 tie

Lewis Morgan scored his seventh goal of the season, Carlos Coronel had three saves and the short-handed New York Red Bulls held for a 1-1 tie with the Vancouver Whitecaps. New York (4-1-5) is unbeaten in six consecutive games since a 3-0 loss to the Columbus Crew on March 16. Emil Forsberg played a corner kick for the Red Bulls that was redirected by the out-stretched hand of goalkeeper Yohei Takaoka before Lewis Morgan put away a diving header to make it 1-1 in the 56th minute. Brian White, who spent his first three-plus MLS seasons with the Red Bulls before he was traded to Vancouver in 2021, opened the scoring in the 15th minute for the Whitecaps. Yohei Takaoka had eight saves for Vancouver.
Benteke scores 2 more goals as DC United beats short-handed Sounders 2-1

Christian Benteke scored two goals, Alex Bono had four saves and D.C. United rallied from an early deficit to beat the shorth-handed Seattle Sounders 2-1. The 33-year-old Benteke has scored eight goals this season, tied with Real Salt Lake's Cristian Arango for second in MLS, behind only Lionel Messi (nine) of Inter Miami. Benteke converted from the penalty spot to make it 1-1 in the 32nd minute and his header in the 45th capped the scoring. Léo Chú headed home a cross played by Jordan Morris to give the Sounders a 1-0 lead in the 14th minute.
Martínez scores in stoppage time, rallies NYCFC to 2-1 victory over Charlotte

Alonso Martínez scored in the third minute of second-half stoppage time and New York City FC rallied to beat Charlotte FC 2-1 at Yankee Stadium. Martínez used a crossing pass from Kevin O'Toole to send a right-footed shot from the center of the box to the bottom left corner of the net. It was the second goal of the season for Martínez, who subbed in for Mounsef Bakrar in the 82nd minute. New York City (4-4-2) beat Charlotte (3-5-2) for the first time after entering play with a 0-4-1 record in the series.

Acosta opened the scoring with a first-timer that slipped inside the post in the 42nd minute. Baird doubled the advantage when he slipped behind the defense, ran onto a through ball played by Luca Orellano and capitalized on a one-on-one with Zach Steffen, lofting a chip shot over the 6-foot-3 goalkeeper into the net in the 64th minute. Moise Bombito scored his second MLS goal to cap the scoring in the 72nd. Djordje Mihailovic played a corner kick to the 24-year-old Bombito whose header bounced inside the back post. Steffen finished with seven saves for Colorado (4-3-3).
Katranis scores late, rallies Real Salt Lake to 2-1 victory over Union

Defender Alexandros Katranis scored in the 89th minute and Real Salt Lake rallied to beat the Philadelphia Union 2-1. Real Salt Lake (5-2-3) knocked off the league's last unbeaten club, handing Philadelphia (3-1-4) its second loss in the last 40 league matches at home under manager Jim Curtin. The Union had outscored their opponents 88-23 in the previous 39 home contests. Katranis used Maikel Chang's first assist of the season to score the second goal of his rookie season. Katranis has made six starts and seven appearances this season.

Owusu headed home an arcing cross played by Federico Bernardeschi to give Toronto (5-4-1) its first lead of the game in the 90th minute. Toronto, which beat the New England Revolution 1-0 last time out, has won back-to-back games following a three-game losing streak. Orlando City's Duncan McGuire opened the scoring in the 37th minute and Toronto trailed until Spicer made it 1-1 in the 87th.
PSG fails to win the French league after drawing with struggling Le Havre

Paris Saint-Germain has failed to clinch the French league title at home after it had to come from two goals down to draw with struggling Le Havre 3-3. It took a stoppage-time goal from Goncalo Ramos to force the draw on Saturday. A win as expected would have given PSG a third straight French crown and record-extending 12th overall. PSG extended its lead to 12 points over second-placed Monaco, which has four games left. PSG can still become champion this weekend if Monaco drops points against Lyon on Sunday.

Another incident of racism in Spanish soccer has marred Atletico Madrid's 3-1 win over Athletic Bilbao. Spain forward Nico Williams says he was targeted by shouts of "monkey" while he took a corner kick in the first half at Metropolitano Stadium. Atletico, in fourth place, has a six-point gap ahead of Athletic in fifth with five games remaining. Girona moved into second place by winning at Las Palmas 2-0.
Champions League-chasing Aston Villa squanders two-goal lead in draw with Chelsea

Aston Villa has squandered a two-goal lead and drawn with Chelsea 2-2 in the English Premier League to dent its push for Champions League qualification. It could have been even worse for Villa on Saturday. Chelsea thought it grabbed a winner through Axel Disasi in stoppage time. The goal was ruled out for a push in the buildup and it angered Chelsea's players as they surrounded the referee after the final whistle. Villa built a 2-0 cushion by halftime after an own-goal by Marc Cucurella and a strike by Morgan Rogers. Chelsea dominated the second half. Noni Madueke reduced the deficit in the 62nd and Conor Gallagher curled in from the edge of the area for an equalizer.
Nadal gets even with De Minaur at Madrid Open but still doubts his body can hold up at French Open

Liverpool has fallen further out of contention for the English Premier League title and that's perhaps the least of Jurgen Klopp's problems. Just as upsetting for the outgoing Liverpool manager might be a touchline confrontation with star forward Mohamed Salah that has overshadowed a 2-2 draw with West Ham on Saturday. Liverpool's latest setback has left the team in third place, two points behind Arsenal and one off Manchester City having played more games. Sheffield United is the first team relegated from the Premier League after losing at Newcastle 5-1. Manchester United drew with Burnley 1-1 and Aston Villa drew with Chelsea 2-2.
Bonmati shines as Barcelona ousts Chelsea in Women's Champions League semis

Aitana Bonmati has scored and earned the penalty for the second goal to help Barcelona beat 10-woman Chelsea 2-0 in the semifinal second leg of the Women's Champions League and 2-1 on aggregate. Barcelona is the first team since Frankfurt and Potsdam in 2005 to advance after losing the semifinal first leg at home. Chelsea won 1-0 in Spain a week ago. Defending champion Barcelona has reached the final for the fifth time in the last six seasons, missing out only in 2020.
Miserable runs continue for Juventus and injury-hit Milan in 0-0 draw in Serie A

AC Milan and Juventus have prolonged mediocre runs after playing out a 0-0 draw in Turin in Serie A. The result on Saturday could leave the Bianconeri nervously looking over their shoulders at the end of the weekend. Juventus remains third but 11 points above seventh-placed Atalanta, which has two games in hand. The top five in Serie A qualify for next season's Champions League. Lazio moved into sixth and within three points of fifth-place Roma with a 1-0 win over relegation-threatened Hellas Verona. Lecce has taken another small step towards safety with a 1-1 draw at home to Monza after both goals came in stoppage time.

Austin (4-3-3) jumped in front in the 7th minute when Rubio took a through ball from Obrian and drilled a right-footed shot from the center of the box to the bottom left corner of the net. Obrian made it 2-0 in the 19th minute with his second netter of the campaign. John McCarthy stopped three shots for the Galaxy (5-2-3), who entered play having won four of their last five matches to move to the top of the Western Conference.
