SOUTH JORDAN — A man is in critical, but stable condition after a skydiving accident in South Jordan near 4900 W Dock St.
Battalion Chief Jon Stone, with the South Jordan Fire Department, said the South Jordan police and fire departments responded to the incident at about 1 p.m. on Saturday.
The man was flown to a hospital for further medical evaluation and aid. A GoFundMe* fundraising page was set up for the man, who the organizer said was named Austin. The page states Austin "was hurt very badly."
"Thankfully, he is hanging in there, and we have hope of a full recovery, but he has a long road ahead of him and multiple surgeries to heal and get back on his feet," the GoFundMe page states.
