GROOVING AND SWINGING — Sometimes a kid just knows he has it. That, or they'd rather just dance than play the game.
Whatever it was, this video of a little tee baller grooving before his plate appearance should bring a smile to your face.

Seriously, this whole sequence is masterful.
The hip shakes with the raised bat? Amazing. Dropping the bat in order to go full arm circle? Masterful. Hopping between both batter boxes? Truly inspired. Pretty much forcing his coach to get him to swing? Pure commitment to the groove.
All of it is so endearing that I'm re-living my tee ball days (and really every other part of my life) pretending I had half the swagger of this kid.
And in what might have been the best part of the whole thing, the little man stepped up and roped a single. Though, that shouldn't have been a surprise. If a kid has that much confidence heading to the plate, you know he's about to rake.
Oh, and for the anti-showboating crowd, he's a kid having fun. Please leave him be.
